How long does it take to process my order?
Our turn around time is generally 10 business days from receipt of your
order. If you are in a rush, you can overnight your photo, send
your photo digitally, and or request overnight delivery for an extra
shipping fee. If you choose ribbon and assembly, please allow an extra
five business days.
How can I order?
By Internet: It's safe and easy to order online. Select your
card, select available options, then proceed to checkout. Send your
photo by mail or email. Remember to include your order number with
photo.
By Mail: Print out completed order

Can I Get A Sample or Catalog?
We offer more options than any other custom photo card company. Therefore, it is hard to keep a sample inventory for each card. We are also continuously updating our custom card styles, which it would be costly to print new catalogs. For these reasons, we do not offer catalogs or samples.
Do envelopes come with my cards?
Yes, all of the styles include envelopes in the cost quoted. All
of the
styles (except the Elegant Square and Layers) include a white
envelope. The Elegant Square & Layers include a cream envelope.
Can I order my envelopes early?
Yes, after you decide which card or announcement style you prefer, click the "early envelope" button and place your order. We will mail out your envelopes within three business days. We charge $15.00 for early envelopes. The cost covers the early envelope fee and the shipping & handling. You may also request your return address to be printed on the envelope. It is an additional $10.00 ($25.00 total). The cost covers the early envelope fee, shipping & handling and the return address on each envelope. Each envelope will be printed in charcoal grey and in the font of your choice. Depending on the envelope style, the return address will either be printed on the back flap of the envelope or on the upper left side of the front of the envelope. Please allow an extra day to receive your envelopes if we are printing the return address. Remember, you need to pre-select your card style at this time. You can choose your style colors or modify your order when you're ready to place the rest of your card order.
Can I get a proof before you print my order?
Yes, we strongly suggest sending a proof to you. The proof is to help catch any errors made by either party. We can e-mail, fax or mail one to you. Once you receive your proof, contact us with the go-ahead or changes that you would like to make.
Note: The purpose of a proof is to make corrections in the text and layout only. Once the proof is approved we are not responsible for errors that are not caught. Although we are usually very accurate with our typesetting, we do occasionally make errors, this is why we send the proof. Please check the text very carefully for all errors.
Do I get my original photo back?
Yes, it will be sent back with your order.
What is the best type of photo to use?
We strongly suggest bright and sharp focus photos. If you send
us a blurry photo your card will be blurry too. The photos can be
black & white or color. If you have a color photo and the
style you are choosing is a black & white card, we will convert it
to black & white at no extra charge. If you cannot decide
between two or three photos, send us a few options and we will
determine which will work the best for you. Also, please write your
last name on the back of your photos.
What type of clothes and background is best?
Light clothing with patterns or textures work best. Dark
clothing and
backgrounds DO NOT work well. Note that all of our card styles
on our web site are displayed with light clothes and light
backgrounds.
Do you accept digital or scanned photos?
Yes, we accept both types of images but we prefer to scan your actual
photograph. You can mail or email a few options and let us decide which works best. If you scan your own original photo, scan it at minimum 200dpi and at 100%. Also, choose the auto-adjust feature before scanning. If you email us your photo, it needs to be a minimum of 72 dpi. Although, we prefer it to be between 200-300 dpi. 72 dpi sometimes has stair stepped edges and does not work with our 5x7 folded cards but does work o.k. with the Simple Elegance and New Beginnings Collection. The final image size should not be any larger than 4"x6". Remember, the larger the dpi, the bigger the file. We can accept files up to 5MB. If your email allows you to send large files, set up your digital camera at the highest resolution possible (up to 300dpi). If you're scanning, scan at 300 dpi. If you want to send a larger file and have the software to compress them (such as "WinZip") please do so.

Can I use a professional photo?
Yes, with a photographer's release form or send us your photographer's phone number and we will call for an approval.
Note: By submitting your order, you represent that you have permission from the copyright holder or other owner to reproduce the image, and that our reproduction of the image will not violate the rights of any other person. Also, by submitting your order, you agree to indemnify us and defend and hold us harmless from all actions, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or relating to (a) our possession or reproduction of the image and (b) any breach of your representations in the previous sentence.
Can you fix imperfections?
We can do some things such as lightening and darkening. We can also
crop, remove red eye and fade out some undesired objects out of the
photo. Everyone has their own idea as to what is important to them. It
is best if you make this request in the "comments" box on
the order form.
What do you do with my photo? Will you help with the layout
for my card?
Yes, we will crop or resize the photo if needed. Most of our styles
have the option of a horizontal or vertical layout. You can make that
selection in our order form under "layout option". If you
would prefer us to make that determination we can do that for you. We
also soften the edges of your picture.
What about multiple
births?
Most of our cards can accommodate two or more babies. There is not an additional
cost for this. However, if you have separate photos, there is a $20
fee per additional photo. Most of the 5 X 7 card sizes work best.
What if I want to
use a different photo than the one I submitted?
It's no problem if we have not started working on your card. If it's
been edited, there is an additional $20 per image fee.
Can I see more than
one text layout?
Yes, one layout is included in your card cost. There is an additional
$10 fee per layout.
Can I order additional announcements after I receive my order?
Yes, we keep your order for one month before we delete it from our
systems. There is a $25.00 reorder fee. It is always best to order an additional 10% at the placement of your original order to avoid the extra fees.
If you are going to order additional cards, go to the card you previously
ordered and click the 're-order more cards' button.
Do you offer ribbon tying & assembly?
Yes, for a nominal fee we will assemble your cards or you can do it
yourself. We will enclose a sample of one of your cards assembled for you to follow.
Note: Allow an extra
5
days for assembly.
Can I get my return address on my envelopes?
Yes, we will print your return address for an additional .25 each. We will print your return address the same color as your announcement or card (unless specified
otherwise). Depending on the envelope style, the return address will either be printed on the back flap of the envelope or on the upper left side of the front of the envelope.
Is there a minimum amount of cards that I need to order?
Yes, the minimum amount is
40.
Do you offer Baptism, Christening, Shower or Birthday Invitations?
Yes, you may modify any of the cards on our web site. Let us
know what saying you would like to accompany the card and we will do
the rest.
